Collaborative Game Design for Social Benefit.

We know that when we teach, we learn. Alternately, when we make games, we learn. Learn from their experiences, gain access to lively communities excited to help, and leave with enthusiasm and tools to create your own hub for game design.
First, we will introduce the concept of Games Jams and Game Communities. Through our work we have created frameworks for supporting people to building complex knowledge through games design. These frameworks are less about the final product and more about the journey. Hear what has been learned through leading game jams and game development communities around complex topics like Indigenous Language preservation and cultural heritage.
