Julia Ventskovska

Julia Ventskovska is CEO and owner of MK:translations, a localization and translation provider. The Ukrainian company has operated since 2014; in 2022 Julia opened an Estonian branch to work on the international market. The company was built from scratch without investment. It has about 40 staff, and each month another 120–150 specialists, including native speakers, join its projects. Julia's own expertise is marketing and sales, including B2B lead generation; she is also a speaker and LinkedIn ambassador in Ukraine. The company's clients include UBER, Uklon, Room8studio, MacPaw and CloudFresh. At Games Gathering 2024 she spoke on "AI vs. native localization of audio and video content. Will AI kill the translation niche".
