Richard Pidruchniak
9th SBS Brigade, External Pilot
Richard Pidruchniak is a serviceman who commands a squad in an unmanned systems unit; the conference site lists him as an external pilot in the 9th brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces. Before being wounded, he served in the air assault forces under contract. After his injury he continued serving in the UAV field, working with a computer and a controller, which he says feels close to the gaming he was already used to. A gamer since childhood, his favourites include Dota 2, Heroes of Might and Magic III and Mount & Blade. At Games Gathering 2025 he spoke about how his experience in games helped him in service.
