Azur Games will explain how a developer can launch a prototype together with a publisher on a turnkey basis, and will also share the case study of the game Do Not Fall .io.

What the talk is about

Yana Vesnina of Azur Games explains how a publisher can help a developer build a successful hyper-casual project, using the game Do Not Fall.io as a case. She advises on choosing a publisher: look at the portfolio, the number and variety of projects, the experience of large players, read contracts carefully (using outside lawyers if needed), and find a partner you are comfortable with. A publisher provides expertise, marketing, user acquisition, creatives, video, monetization, analytics, ASO, localization, feedback and, if needed, investment. She also describes the paid prototyping model. In the case study, the game was built from an idea inspired by another title, went through several iterations with the developer and reached the top charts, with over 15 million installs. Useful for indie developers and studios choosing a publisher for a hyper-casual game.
