What the talk is about
Stanislav Osipov describes how the Ukrainian outsourcing company Stan’s Assets from KAPPS got through the first three months of the full-scale war. The team paid everyone's salary in advance from day one and asked clients for time: productivity was about half in the first month, around seventy percent in the second, and fully back by the third. A fully remote setup and the fact that many people were already abroad helped. The company kept its business in Ukraine, supported fundraising for the army, and launched an initiative offering Ukrainian testers at cost to people who had lost jobs. Recruiting became easier as the market filled with specialists, so hiring got much faster. The Ukrainian brand helped with clients. To pay staff abroad, the company opened a US entity. Plans include growing past 50 people and starting in-house development. Useful for outsourcing studio leaders.
