Daren Dmitriev

Daren Dmitriev is a game designer at Pushka Studios, an outsourcing studio that ports games from PC to consoles and builds its own prototypes. At the studio he works on prototypes. Previously he trained and worked in architecture, made tabletop role-playing games and wrote books for them: together with a team of friends he created books that expand the rules of DnD 5e. He also takes part in game jams. At Games Gathering 2025 in Lviv he spoke about idea generation, prototyping and iteration, sharing his reflection on the book "Writing for games".
