Zholud Dobrovolskyi

Zholud Dobrovolskyi is Founder & CEO of boardova, a board game publisher. He has worked in localization for eight years. He owns the translation company Wordlords and the board game publishing studio boardova, which has operated since 2022. In 2023, boardova released its first game on the Ukrainian market, and in March 2025 it launched a game on Kickstarter. From his teenage years, Zholud ran various businesses of his own. At Games Gathering 2025 in Lviv, he gave the talk "Kickstarter from Ukraine and in general", sharing boardova's experience from releasing its first game in Ukraine to running a Kickstarter campaign.
