What the talk is about

Vlad Plotnykov explains how a client can set up work with external teams on sound and music for a project. First comes homework: define the mood, atmosphere and list of audio elements, and write a clear technical brief with references. Partners can be found through acquaintances, studios and freelance marketplaces, but price should not be the main criterion: rates vary enormously because many people treat audio as a hobby or side income, so reputation and experience matter more. He then advises stating your budget honestly, paying for test tasks, agreeing on deadlines and communication channels (calls over chat), naming one person responsible, reviewing interim demos and giving constructive feedback. Unagreed revisions after delivery should also be paid. Useful for producers and developers ordering audio for the first time.
