Why Game Jams?

This talk will explore why game jams are important safe spaces for experimentation that have the potential to give us as an industry the space to explore new ideas. Game jams and indie teams have the ability to expand our creative horizons for what’s possible. This is especially critical when we seek to create experiences that take on complex, real world issues. Using real examples from GGJ’s Mental Health Jam, Cultural Heritage Jam, The Kilted Otter Cultural Jam and the Iranian Women, Life, Freedom Jam.
