What the talk is about
Svitlana Zozulya explains how artists can plan their time and avoid burnout under constant deadlines. She shows that a time estimate covers more than drawing: client communication, revisions, rest and planning all take time, so a workday yields only a few hours of pure drawing. Her advice includes tracking time, knowing your own workflow, splitting big tasks into small checklists, looking after sleep, movement and your body, accepting unproductive days, and keeping files and layers tidy. She also gives the manager's view: divide work into parts, give optimistic and pessimistic estimates, average the estimates of several artists, and plan for revisions, vacations and team communication. Useful for artists, freelancers, managers and indie teams who work with artists.
