Tanja Loktionova explains how art specialists can build a career deliberately, as a project of its own. Art is the most numerous vacancy category in Ukraine (about a fifth of all postings) and draws the most applications, so candidates must stand out: an up-to-date portfolio without clutter that says what exactly the author did, a duplicate on ArtStation, an active LinkedIn profile, and a cover letter. She advises knowing the market through the salary survey, tracking negotiations, having a clear stance on test tasks, and staying polite with recruiters, who move between companies. She then covers growth: a T-shaped profile, trying different genres, courses, contests, soft skills, burnout prevention, the path to art director, finding a mentor and planning a career. Useful for artists at any level.
