I will talk about ways to use AI to create voiceovers at all stages of game development and marketing.

What the talk is about

Ihor Klimovskyi explains how Respeecher's AI voice cloning is used in games. He describes the difference between text-to-speech and speech-to-speech: in the latter an actor performs the role and the system carries every emotion over into another voice, working in any language since the model operates on acoustics. Examples include de-ageing a hero's voice in a major console game and recreating an actor's voice for the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion. Practical scenarios: one actor voicing a prototype through a hundred licensed voices, fixing a star's lines without bringing them back, localisation that keeps the original timbre or changes the accent, child voices for actors who have grown up, and real-time voice conversion for streams and personalised marketing. He also stresses ethics: a voice is cloned only with the person's consent. Useful for producers, audio teams and marketers.
