How do you turn a desire to share your experience into a full-fledged educational course for children?
While working at Wargaming, I wanted not only to apply my 3D modeling skills to my job but also to pass them on to others. That opportunity arose thanks to a CSR initiative by Wargaming Kyiv, which we implemented in collaboration with "Azov Cares" by creating a 3D modeling course for middle and high school students.
In this talk, I will share how the idea turned into a curriculum, why I decided to create the course from scratch instead of using a ready-made one, and how I adapted the materials for school-aged children. I will share the challenges, mistakes, and conclusions I made along the way. I'll also talk about what I learned myself while teaching others, share tips for anyone looking to create their own course, and provide helpful resources for self-study.
The recording will be published after the conference
